Holding down the Windows key (button with the Windows logo), tap the ‘R’ key – this will bring up the “Run” dialog window
Type in msinfo32, and press Enter
From the System Information window that pops up:
Click on "System Summary", and your system information should be displayed
Holding down the Windows Key, tap the ‘E’ key – this will bring up Windows' "File Explorer"
Click on “This PC”
The “Devices and Drives” section will highlight the available disks on your computer, each with the amount of free disk space
If you have an Apple Mac computer:
Click the Apple "Menu" option "About This Mac"
Choose the "Overview Tab", which displays Processor, Memory, Graphics and version of Operating System
Click on the "Storage Tab" view the amount of free disk-space
If you have a Chromebook computer:
Start the Chrome browser, and in the address bar, type in "chrome://system" and press Enter
This will bring up the "About System" page for your computer
To check your system's specifications, kindly use the "Find" function in the browser - press 'Ctrl' + 'F' to bring up the find bar. Search for each the following search terms to find the system details:
Memory: Type in 'Meminfo' and click the 'Expand' button
Note that the device's memory is the top entry (MemTotal) - to convert this number into gigabytes (GB), divide the value shown by 1,000,000
Processor: Type in 'CPU' to find out your Processor details
To find out your available disk space open the Files app and access the Options menu in the top right corner. The available space should be listed at the bottom.
