Dear Parent,

Thank you for booking Spark4Kids’ computer coding holiday workshop.

You will have been sent email confirmation and Joining Instructions at the time when you completed your booking. Below is important general information about attending Spark4Kids workshops.

Day 1 Registration
On the first day of the workshop, please allow extra time to complete a short form covering allergies, emergency contact details etc. If you haven’t done so already, you can save yourself time by completing the form online prior to arrival: Emergency Contact Form.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times
The times for the workshop are 10am – 4pm for all-day workshops (for children aged 8+), and 10am – 12pm for the “Tech 4 Little Kids” workshop (children aged 5-7). If you selected the “Extended Day” option, then please note that the times are 8:30am – 5pm (only available at some locations).

Kindly ensure that your child is dropped off and picked-up promptly.

To report your child as late or absent please email us at [email protected] or text 07930 000 415 including your child’s name in the message.

Parking
There is usually drive-in space for dropping off and picking up your children at the workshop location. Please use nearby roads if you’re planning to park for longer, allowing extra time for finding parking as well as the walk to the workshop.

Food & Drink
Children attending full-day workshops are offered lunch in the form of a sandwich and salad bar, with a choice of breads, fillings and condiments. Children may also bring in a packed lunch if they have special dietary requirements. Refreshments in the form of fruit, snacks, water and a choice of drinks are available for the duration of all workshops.

Digital Devices and Valuables
Unless we have specifically requested this, we would rather children did not bring any devices with them to sessions – we provide all the equipment required. We do, however, appreciate that some older children may bring devices with them. We recommend that any personal devices are kept safely out-of-sight at all times. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of property whilst attending the workshop.

Children aged 8 and older can bring their own headsets as most workshops have some audio instruction, however headphones will be provided if your child does not bring their own.

Dress Code
Casual, comfortable sporting clothes with trainers or other leisure footwear. Please ensure that your child brings a waterproof overcoat in case of inclement weather.
